MEET JO
Having achieved a 2:1 Business Degree, I started my corporate events career mainly working with automotive companies in the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire where I lived for many happy years. These included Mitsubishi Motors, Subaru World Rally and Audi/VW.
In 2004 marriage took me rural Yorkshire where I had a bit of a shock - no event jobs in sight! I didn't sit still for long before an event agency opportunity popped up which allowed me to work on the other side of the fence (agency as opposed to client). In 6 years I travelled the world and gained a wealth of event production experience in varying industries, finding my niche as an expert venue finder and event manager.
In 2010 when the agency I worked for closed, I created Montpellier Events Ltd, a freelance umbrella and I've not looked back! I've been part of the production team (client and myself) for hundreds of events and have a global network of contacts to make every one successful from small field meetings to those of a six figure budget.
Interests: Riding, spinning, Hiit, cooking, entertaining, animal charity and managing Hare Cottage, my 5 Star (Gold) AA/Visit England holiday cottage.
